Total carbohydrate minus fiber, once. Fiber-excluded labels skip the subtraction.
Start where you are
Three everyday situations, each pointing at the tool that solves it fastest.
You're holding a label
Packaged food, a yogurt, a sauce. Start with the net carb calculator.
Read a labelYou know what you're eating
Weigh the ingredient and let the food records do the arithmetic.
Weigh a foodYou're planning ahead
Set a daily target and fill seven days before the week starts.
Plan a weekFive tools, five clear jobs
Nothing here tries to do everything. Each one answers a single question and shows the arithmetic behind the answer.
Weekly Meal Planner
Log seven days against your own net carb target. Each day is scored, the week is totalled, and the average only counts days you actually recorded.
- Seven scored days
- Week total and honest average
- Print or export the week

Net Carb Calculator
Any nutrition label, both conventions
Type what the label says and choose how that label counts fiber. You get net carbs per serving and the total you actually ate.
- US labels and fiber-excluded labels
- Per serving and total consumed
- Flags fiber higher than total carbs
Food Carb Lookup
52 weighed USDA records
Find a whole food, scale it to the exact grams or common portion you ate, and read carbs, fiber and net carbs for that plate.
- Grams, ounces or common portions
- Filter by food group
- Print the summary
Recipe Nutrition Calculator
Total the dish, divide per plate
Build the dish ingredient by ingredient, total the whole thing, then divide by servings for the figure that lands on one plate.
- Weighed ingredients, no guesswork
- Per-serving net carbs
- Uncounted lines called out, not estimated
Low-Carb Swap Finder
Lower-carb alternatives, portion for portion
Pick the food you were about to eat and see what swaps in at the same weight — plus how much of the alternative matches your original carbs.
- Same-food-group swaps first
- Side-by-side carb counts
- Says so when nothing is lower
Why we show the maths
A nutrition number is only useful if you can check it. Every result explains its inputs and formula, flags invalid entries instead of rounding them away, and keeps medical questions out of scope.
In development
Listed so you know what's coming, not to collect clicks on unfinished pages. Each one ships only once its data is verified.
Macro split checker
Compare a logged day against your protein and fat targets.
Grocery list builder
Turn a planned week into a shopping list you can actually use.
Questions about the tools
What these tools do with your numbers, and what they deliberately stay out of.
No. Every tool is free and runs without signing up. There is no saved profile, so nothing you type is attached to an identity.
No. The arithmetic happens in your browser tab and clears when you reset or close the page. That is also why a planner week doesn't survive a refresh.
From weighed USDA food records, published per 100 g. Each tool scales those records to your portion, and the editorial standards page lists how we round, what we exclude, and how corrections are handled.
We only publish a tool once its data and limits are verified. Anything unfinished stays in the in-development list rather than collecting clicks on a page that gives half an answer.
No. These are general food composition estimates and are not suitable for medication or insulin dosing. Speak to a clinician for diabetes management or any prescribed diet.
